Our volunteers are extremely valuable to us. Without their help, our way of serving the homeless would be impossible. If you have extra time and would like to donate it to our cause, please fill out the volunteer application and join us. You will get a great satisfaction and sense of accomplishment with Verde Valley Homeless Coalition. We know we do.
Why Volunteer?
There are so many reasons we can’t even begin to cover them.
Michigan State University has done studies on volunteering that tell us everything we need to know. The evidence suggests that being a volunteer promotes psychological well being. The study showed that volunteering is connected to factors that effect depression, purpose and a positive outlook for life. When you affect others, you receive value in return. Most of us don’t think we have enough time to volunteer. Our busy schedules seem not to allow us the room to give more than to just our families and ourselves. Of course, that is precisely why you should. Jumping into a situation and expanding your horizons is growth. The kind of growth we need in society today.
The Center is open 7 days a week and overnight accommodations are available for up to 20 individuals every night of the year. Volunteers are always welcome.

There are various volunteer opportunities available and we look forward to meeting with you and helping you determine in what capacity you might serve. Our volunteers are the foundation of carrying out our mission!
